Green Thumbs and Pumpkins

Have I told you about my green thumbs? The ones that allow me to work hard in the garden and get a half dozen zucchinis off of 8 plants? That is not counting the 6 that didn't make it over a few inches.

Maybe it has to due with inconsistent watering. Like the sole house plant that we have that I keep killing and bringing back to life.

After last year when we didn't get those pumpkins carved at all we completed them a whole week early! Go team! But after 5 days they were toast.
Note the burned out eyeball on the 2nd one. Jerick tried to "save" them by burning the green fuzz off. FYI, it didn't work.

Next year the goal will be to get the carved AND have them make it to the first of November. ... Wish me luck, I have a feeling I'm going to need it.
