Our local library system has had a new audio book format that we are just in love with. We just provide our own earphones and off we go.Playaway is the magic name. They offer 1521 titles!
The library has 207 titles. Fiction, non-fiction, biographies, adult books, kids books, classics and contemporary. We cannot get enough! So much so that J is requesting them for holiday gifts.
Go check them out! Don't depend on your branch to have them since they are what is called a floating collection. Wherever they get returned is where they live. Needless to say our most local branch has quite a few copies because the 25 cent hold fee doesn't slow us down. 25 cent for the privilege of ordering it on line at any time and having it delivered to our local branch is one of the last great bargains.
