Legoland aka Julia purple ticket update

After 19 days of obsessing about a purple ticket from Legoland Jules has let it go.

The purple ticket represented the chance to be in a performance at Legoland. A performance that was cancled the day the purple ticket came into our lives.

Today, Jules and I made a special trip to LL so she could attempt to get a purple ticket or perform in the show. There was not purple ticket, or aqua ticket for her, but she did get to perform. Thank goodness she says that the performing was the important part and not the ticket. :slam head: the purple ticket that she ranted and raved about almost daily for 19 days.

This whole thing about getting down to exactly what the need is with her is so trying. Granted it is more trying living with her and not getting down to the nitty gritty. This is the second time I have opted not to just blow her off and this is the second time that the rewards were greater than my efforts. She can be amazingly understanding and user friendly if she is getting heard. All these years of giving up on her unreasonable demands and letting her spin into a frenzy may be coming to a close. She still goes to verbal extreems but will then back down. Example: she was obsessively disliking the person who had the purple ticket. To the point that she didn't care what pain she put herself, the family, and our friends through.
